Eczema / Dermatitis

How we can help.

Eczema (Atopic Dermatitis) causes patchy rash(es) that are itchy, bumpy, red, and dry. This is a common skin issue for those with allergies to food, chemicals like fabric softener / soaps, environmental allergies, or asthma and this usually runs in families. Eczema usually gets better as you age, but there are cases where you will need treatment to relieve the symptoms. Eczema is not contagious and often flares up again mostly in the same places. We can help by providing orders for FDA approved corticosteroid creams or oral medications. We can provide referrals to local dermatologists if your eczema is severe or there are concerns for psoriasis which can be linked to other conditions like diabetes, heart disease or depression.

How long is the visit?

Most visits are between 5 to 10 minutes based on complexity. Your online visit is kept efficient so you can save time and money instead of driving and waiting for an appointment. You will receive written education about your symptoms / diagnosis and a prescription or refill if appropriate. You can have the prescription sent to your local pharmacy within a matter of minutes or a few hours after your visit.

You don’t require insurance.

There are no hidden fees for our service. Each visit is $39 with an experienced provider. You will simply cover your medications or testing fees that we may order for you after the visit.

How we help through Telemedicine.

Telemedicine has been around since the 1980’s and has vastly improved since then. We are unable to perform a full physical exam, but we can treat you based on your history and symptoms, physical / visual presentation and overall condition. We are able to provide a diagnosis with a high degree of accuracy and provide follow up visits by secure messaging or further visits to ensure effectiveness of your treatment.

Can you refill or prescribe xanax, oxy, norco or other controlled drugs?

We are unable to refill or prescribe opiates, controlled substances, and anti-psychotics. Please contact us if you are unsure if the medication you need is controlled.
