How we can help.
STDs (STIs – sexually transmissible infections) symptoms include unusual discharge from the penis, vagina or anus. There may be pain during urination, sores, blisters, ulcers or warts on or around the genital area. We can treat your symptoms and evaluate if you require more intensive treatment based on your symptoms. If appropriate, we can provide prescriptions for antivirals, antibiotics or antifungals based on your diagnosis.
We also offer prescriptions for PrEP (Truvada® or DESCOVY®)(for HIV prevention). (Per the CDC) Pre-exposure prophylaxis (or PrEP) is a way for people who do not have HIV but who are at very high risk of getting HIV to prevent HIV infection by taking a pill every day. The pill (Truvada® or DESCOVY®) contains two medicines (tenofovir and emtricitabine) that are used in combination with other medicines to treat HIV. When someone is exposed to HIV through sex or injection drug use, these medicines can work to keep the virus from establishing a permanent infection.
How to get started.
Simply answer some basic health questions and click to sign our consent for telehealth all within our HIPAA compliant patient portal. During your scheduled visit we can determine if you need a new medication or provide you with a refill. We can order labs and tests as well for all Kansas residents.
How long is the visit?
Most visits are between 5 to 10 minutes based on complexity. Your online visit is kept efficient so you can save time and money instead of driving and waiting for an appointment. You will receive written education about your symptoms / diagnosis and a prescription or refill if appropriate. You can have the prescription sent to your local pharmacy within a matter of minutes or a few hours after your visit.
You don’t require insurance.
There are no hidden fees for our service. Each visit is $39 with an experienced provider. You will simply cover your medications or testing fees that we may order for you after the visit.
How we help through Telemedicine.
Telemedicine has been around since the 1980’s and has vastly improved since then. We are unable to perform a full physical exam, but we can treat you based on your history and symptoms, physical / visual presentation and overall condition. We are able to provide a diagnosis with a high degree of accuracy and provide follow up visits by secure messaging or further visits to ensure effectiveness of your treatment.
Can you refill or prescribe xanax, oxy, norco or other controlled drugs?
We are unable to refill or prescribe opiates, controlled substances, and anti-psychotics. Please contact us if you are unsure if the medication you need is controlled.
